Crunchy Treat Christmas Trees #christmas #snack

My youngsters beg me to assist bake things for our acquaintances in the course of the holidays. properly, my kids are 6 & 4 (minus the infant who is 6 months old) and so their kitchen capabilities aren’t very technical. So, we appeared in our cupboards and found some thing we could use to create a fun and clean vacation treat with, and we created those Krispie deal with Christmas bushes!  
We used Fruity Pebbles to make krispie treats because they're colorful like lighting on a Christmas tree. Then we used Rolos sweet because the tree stumps, some melted white chocolate chips for the garland, and exceptional colored sprinkles for decoration. They turned out fantastic!


Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 1 (16oz) bag mini marshmallows
  • 1 (11oz) box Fruity Pebbles cereal (about 7 cups)
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp coconut oil or shortening, for thinning
  • Red, Green, and or Silver sugar crystals/sprinkles
  • Rolos candy for the tree stumps

instructions

  1. Grease a 13x9-inch baking dish with more butter or baking spray. (Alternately line the pan with parchment paper that has been gently greased.)
  2. In a big non-stick stock pot, melt the butter. upload the marshmallows and stir constantly till melted.
  3. do away with melted marshmallows from warmness. add Fruity Pebbles cereal and stir/fold until the melted marshmallows are frivolously dispensed amongst the cereal.
  4. Pour the aggregate into the organized dish. Flatten the cereal with the bottom of a measuring cup that has been buttered, so it doesn't stick, and does not burn your arms. allow to chill completely.
  5. Pull the entire slab of cereal out of the dish. Then cut the cereal in half lengthwise. Then cut off one quit at an angle and cut from side to side developing triangles. region the triangles on parchment or wax paper.
  6. melt the white chocolate chips with the coconut oil in a bowl in the microwave for quick 20 2d bursts, stirring in-between every extra 20 seconds, until smooth.
  7. permit the chocolate to chill slightly, then pour it into a zipper-pinnacle bag and cut off the corner. Zig-zag the chocolate throughout every Christmas tree. right away sprinkle the white chocolate with colored sprinkles.
  8. attach the Rolo tree stumps onto the bushes with a dab of melted white chocolate. permit the chocolate to dry. save the treats on a plate gently protected with plastic wrap up to four days.
