Bruschetta Pasta Salad

This salad is the epitome of summer in a container.

INGREDIENTS:


  • 1 lb. orecchiette
  • 1/4 c. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 pt. cherry tomatoes, preferably multi-colored, halved
  • 1/4 c. torn basil, for garnish



DIRECTIONS:


  1. In a monumental pot of salted simmering wet, prepare orecchiette according to container directions until al dente. Course and set excursus.
  2. In a dinky vessel, wipe unitedly olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then flavor with seasoning and flavorer.
  3. To dish, add food, flavorer and tomatoes; toss with sauce to have.
  4. Ornament with doctor and assist.
