Delicious Sticky Chicken
I noticed a clip of Jamie Oliver cooking his “Sticky-Kicking bird” on-line every week ago and just loved the teqnique he used for buying maximum flavour out of a humble little chook thigh. Jamie rubs the thighs with chinese language five-spice and then fries it in a warm pan until cooked and subsequently adds a few sweet chilli sauce to the pan to create a delicious, sticky bird. I loved this concept and determined to make it for dinner some nights ago. The handiest hassle become that I didn’t have any five-spice within the house but determined to use a fragrant Garam Masala and honey as an alternative.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 tablespoons Garam Masala
- 8 boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 cup runny honey
INSTRUCTIONS:
- On a sheet of baking paper, sprinkle the Garam Masala, paprika and salt and rub the hen in the rub until its well included.
- warmth a non-stick pan and upload a tablespoon of olive oil. Fry the chook until golden brown and cooked via.
- upload the honey and lemon juice and permit to caramelise for a minute.
- Serve with salad and new potatoes.
