Peanut Butter Blossoms are one among my most favorite cookies to make at some stage in the Christmas season.   maybe it’s due to the fact peanut butter and chocolate is my most favorite flavor combination within the international… or perhaps it’s due to the fact they’re simply so cute… or maybe it’s because they’re in order that darn easy to make!

INGREDIENTS

• 48 Hershey's Kisses chocolate candies
• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 3/4 cup Peanut Butter
• 1/2 cup shortening (I used Crisco)
• 1/3 cup sugar
• 1/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 Tbsp milk
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 sugar, for rolling
• green frosting
• disposable piping bag fitted with a Wilton #4 piping tip
• red, green, & white holiday sprinkles

INTRUCTIONS

COOKIES

1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line cookie sheet with parchment paper. do away with wrappers from goodies.
2. Beat shortening and peanut butter in massive bowl until well blended.
3. upload 1/3 cup granulated sugar and brown sugar; beat until fluffy.
4. add egg, milk and vanilla; beat properly.
5. Stir collectively flour, baking soda and salt; gradually beat into peanut butter aggregate.
6. shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll in sugar and location on organized cookie sheet.
7. Bake 7-eight mins or till lightly browned.
8. without delay press a chocolate into middle of every cookie; cookie will crack round edges. take away from cookie sheet to cord rack. Cool absolutely.
