Delicious Philly Cheese Meatloaf
once we loved final menu’s Meatloaf Parmesan so much, I determined to attempt some other twist on meatloaf. This time my thought changed into a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. just like the Meatloaf Parmesan, it become a hit!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 lb. ground meat
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 egg
- Several dashes salt and pepper
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a skillet, sauté the onion and pepper inside the oil till tender. combine those vegetables with the last ingredients besides the cheese in a bowl. place 1/2 of this aggregate into a greased loaf pan and pinnacle with 3 of the slices of provolone cheese. Repeat so you have two meat-cheese layers.

- I used floor turkey when making this meatloaf and it grew to become out very well. It clearly tasted harking back to a Philly cheesesteak sandwich!
