Thai Grilled Chicken (Gai Yang) Recipes

- 2 tbsp Chinese cooking wine , sherry or sake (Japanese cooking wine) (Note 4)
- 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
- 2 tbsp honey (or 1 tbsp brown sugar)
TO SERVE
- Red chili , finely sliced (optional)
- Lime wedges
- Cilantro / coriander leaves (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- area Marinade ingredients in a massive ziplock bag. massage to combine.
- add the chook into the ziplock bag and massage to spread the marinade over all the bird. Marinate for a minimum of 3 hours, ideally overnight (as much as 24 hours).
