The Best Sausage Egg and Cheese Monkey Bread
Sausage, Egg and Cheese Monkey Bread is the proper pull-apart breakfast of your dreams. they are gentle and tender bread bites with sausage, fluffy scrambled eggs and ooey gooey cheese, topped with a garlic herb butter!
INGREDIENTS:
- 24 frozen dinner yeast roll dough balls
- 8-ounces shredded Colby Jack cheese
- pinch black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 5-ounces Jones All Natural Chicken Sausage, cut into coins
- 3 tablespoons whole milk
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray your 10-cup bundt pan with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
- In a medium bowl integrate eggs, milk, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and pepper. Whisk until completely blended.
- add 2 tablespoons of butter to a small skillet. warmness the skillet over medium warmness. as soon as the butter is melted add the egg aggregate and stir on occasion until the eggs are scrambled, and no liquid is left within the pan, about three-4 minutes. Do not cook dinner till they are absolutely dry, or they may be overcooked within the monkey bread.
- area dinner rolls on a microwave-safe plate and microwave on defrost for approximately 3-4 minutes (or until dough is now not frozen, but not cooked).
- reduce dough balls into 1/4's.
- In a massive microwave-safe bowl combine final 6 tablespoons of butter (reduce into chunks for easy melting), 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/four teaspoon kosher salt. Microwave until butter is melted. Stir in 1 tablespoon chives.
- add quartered dough balls to the garlic butter aggregate. Toss to coat.
- Layer in 1/3 of the dough balls, half of the scrambled eggs, 1/2 of the sausage and approximately 1/2 of the cheese within the bundt pan. Repeat layer with 1/3 of the dough balls and the final eggs, sausage and cheese. pinnacle with last dough portions. Pour any remaining garlic butter over the top.
- Spray a bit of plastic wrap with non-stick spray, region the wrap sprayed side down at the breakfast bombs.
- allow to upward push in a heat region till doubled (about 30 minutes) or if making overnight, refrigerate till morning. See notes for extra in a single day directions.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until cooked thru. cover with foil if the tops start getting too brown (I protected mine at 20 mins).
- permit monkey bread to cool for 5 mins within the pan and then loosen the bread from the perimeters of the pan with a knife or silicone spatula. Invert onto a plate.
