Doritos Casserole Recipe
Layered Dorito Casserole is an smooth own family favourite recipe! Lean ground red meat is pro with taco seasoning and salsa to create a delicious filling. Layers of Doritos create a delicious base for this casserole which is then crowned with cheese and baked until brown and bubbly. We pinnacle it with our favourite taco stimulated toppings!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 family size bag Doritos, any flavor (I used Nacho Cheese)
- 1 onion diced
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 2 cups shredded cheese (I used tex mex blend or cheddar)
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 package low sodium taco seasoning or homemade taco seasoning
- 1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
OPTIONAL TOPPINGS
- Olives
- Lettuce
- Sour Cream
- Tomato
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- prepare dinner ground pork with onion and garlic till no red remains. Drain any fats.
- upload taco seasoning, salsa and 1/three cup of water. cook dinner till thickened, approximately 5 minutes and take away from warmness.
- In a large bowl, combine pork aggregate, bitter cream, soup and 1 cup of cheese.
- slightly crush Doritos (no longer completely, you don’t need crumbs). Layer 1 half of cups Doritos in the bottom of a 2 qt casserole dish . top with half of the pork combination. Repeat layers. finally pinnacle with a further 1 to at least one half cups Doritos and last cheese.
- Spray a bit of foil with cooking spray and cover casserole.
- Bake half-hour blanketed, remove foil and bake uncovered for a further 20 mins or till warm and bubbly. top with lettuce, tomatoes and olives if desired.
